Women's Prestige gets new finale

Organizers of the Women's Prestige Cycling Series in the United States of
America have announced that the Presbyterian Hospital Invitational in
Charlottte, North Carolina, will join the series and will serve as the grand
finale in 2008. The event's addition will mark the first time the series'
five-year history that a one-day race has been included in a schedule that
previously included all stage races. Read More

The Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium is excited to announce its inclusion in both the U.S.A. National Racing Series and U.S.A. CRITS Championship series. The 2008 races have top ranking and the highest purses in the country, guaranteeing elite riders for both and an awesome spectator event.

The U.S.A. National Racing Calendar Series is a 41 race series held throughout the United States starting in February and ending in October for professional men and women cyclists. This series has a season long points system and riders and their teams are ranked based on performance. The Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium is ranked as a 1.2 scale event, the highest status awarded by U.S.A. Cycling the governing body for bicycle racing in the U.S.A..

The U.S.A. CRITS Championship Series is a 10 race series designed to crown the best Criterium riders in the country for both men and women. The series is set to start in April and end in September with the World Criterium Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to the prize lists in each city in the series, with Charlotte being the largest prize list, the rider will be competing for an overall $100,000.00 prize list for the series.
